This Cookies Policy explains how DataSurfer (operated by Mažoji Bendrija “Dekma”) uses cookies and similar technologies on datasurfer.ai and in the DataSurfer web application. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when a website loads in your browser. They help websites function, stay secure, and remember your preferences. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in a comparable way, and this policy treats them the same as cookies.

The datasurfer.ai website

The datasurfer.ai marketing website, including these legal pages, does not set any cookies and does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or similar tools. Because we place no non-essential cookies on the website, we do not show a cookie consent banner there.

Google Fonts

Our website loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). This request shares your IP address and browser information with Google so the fonts can be delivered. Google Fonts does not set cookies for this, but Google's handling of the request is governed by Google's privacy policy.

Booking a demo

When you follow a link to book a demo, you are taken to Cal.com, a third-party scheduling service. Any cookies or similar technologies used on that site are set by Cal.com under its own cookie and privacy policies, not ours.

The DataSurfer web application

When you sign in to the DataSurfer web application, we and our authentication provider (Clerk) use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, maintain your session, and protect your account against abuse. These are strictly necessary for the application to work, so they do not require consent and cannot be switched off within the application. The application may also store preferences you choose, such as interface settings, in your browser.

When you connect Google Drive or Dropbox, or make a payment, you are briefly taken to that provider's own pages (Google, Dropbox, or Stripe). Cookies set on those pages are governed by those providers' own policies.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies in the web application. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to the web application. Support documentation for the major browsers:
